“Who Loves Ya, Baby?” asked Telly Savalas and Frankie Vali many years ago, and to make sure our team felt the NCM Valentines love last weekend we arranged for them all to receive a box of delicious chocolate brownies from a great local charity, Social Bite. This is a cause we support at a corporate level and the team donated over 40 gifts to their Tree of Kindness before Christmas.
Lockdown #3 seems harder for many due to the long dark days, home schooling juggles, winter weather and lack of the usual festive feel good boost. We all know the end is hopefully now in sight but this last lap is a tough one. As employers we have taken our responsibility to look after our staff over the past 12 months very seriously. Clients are of course hugely important to any service business but without our most valuable asset, people, we couldn’t continue to service existing clients and win new ones. Soon we hope to be together again in our new office but until then a chocolate boost while supporting a good cause seemed to be a well-received consolation!
