A number of NCM's fitness fanatics, led by our enthusiastic charity committee of Julie, Ben and Finlay, will be swapping their office attire for gym wear and trainers this Saturday 27th August, as they take part in climbing the 7 hills of Edinburgh in one day. The challenge will begin at 10am at the base of Arthurs Seat and conclude with Calton Hill, a slightly more friendly finish! The hikers have set themselves the target of completing the challenge in under 8 hours, plenty caffeine and energy bars will be required!

The team will be raising funds for Circle, a Scottish charity working at the heart of deprived communities across central Scotland. Their aim is to support the most disadvantaged children and families, to improve their lives, promote their healthy development and reach their potential.

Circle offers a range of whole family support services that promote children’s healthy development and potential. They engage with families who face exclusion due to social injustice, poverty and health inequalities. Social injustice, poverty and health inequalities are associated with families experiencing drug or alcohol addiction, parental imprisonment, neglect and abuse, family breakdown, involvement with care services, and physical and mental health problems. Circle works alongside the whole family, building on their strengths.

NCM is proud to support the team in fundraising for this fantastic cause and will be enthusiastically supporting them this Saturday! If you would like to support their fundraising efforts, please find the sponsorship page through the link below.
