A team of NCM's most elite athletes; Julie, Jemma, Anne and Fiona, are dusting off their running shoes and taking part in the 2021 Virtual Virgin Money London Marathon. On Sunday 3rd October the NCM ladies will join 50,000 others to run the biggest marathon ever staged anywhere in the world. They will have 24 hours to complete a 26.2 mile course of their choosing.
The team will be raising funds for the Big Issue Foundation, a charity established in 1995 whose mission is to connect Big Issue vendors with vital support services. These specialist services enable vendors to rebuild their lives and help them to address the issues that have arisen from or led to many of their life experiences. It is important to The Big Issue Foundation to provide support that helps vendors determine their own pathways to a better future, to give a hand up and not a hand out.
