NCM Congratulates Client Episode 1 On Success of Investments

NCM is delighted to congratulate one of their clients, Episode 1 Investments 2 LP and one of their portfolio, Pickr on the recent news that they have won the Microsoft Advertising Diversity & Inclusion Award at the Tech Nation Rising Stars Awards. The award was presented by judge, Amali de Alwis, MD of Microsoft. She had this to say about Pickr, "A really extraordinary company, not just for what they do but for how they are looking at diversity challenges both inside & outside of their business".

 

The finalists pitched to an expert panel of judges and crowd of over 200 investors, accelerators, entrepreneurs and corporate leaders. The judging panel was made up of Amali de Alwis, MD, Microsoft for Startups UK, Adam Kamani, CEO KM Capital, Kamani Property Group and Co-Founder of PrettyLittleThing, Ed Prior, Tech Investment Banker, GP Bullhound, Jacqueline de Rojas, President, techUK, Denise Xifara, Co-Founder, GMG Ventures and Michael Stothard, Editor, Sifted.

 

In addition to this great news, a second Episode 1 investment, Riskledger has been selected as one of the 10 start-up semifinalists at the Accenture Blue Tulip Awards. The Blue Tulip Awards is a year-round ecosystem-driven program that aims to accelerate innovators, build powerful collaborations and drive breakthrough innovation.
