June 17, 2019

Kings Street Townhouse, Manchester was the venue for the BVCA’s Next Generation in Private Equity & Venture Capital Series summer BBQ. NCM’s Tom Cook & Angus Andrew were the enthusiastic volunteers who endured the sunshine as part of a well-attended audience for an insightful industry update delivered by BVCA Deputy Director General, Gurpreet Manku.

Gurpreet summarised the key Brexit analysis the BVCA have completed to date - available to member firms – and outlined their ongoing lobbying work being undertaken to navigate the industry through these unprecedented times. With the Brexit timetable now stretching well into the second half of 2019, the BVCA are planning further updates to keep members abreast of the rapidly changing political environment. Gurpreet adding some flavour to what was already a very tasty afternoon!

BVCA’s Next Generation Series is aimed at young professionals in the PE&VC industry and is an excellent platform for peers to expand their network and make long lasting contacts in the industry.

NCM would like to thank the BVCA for hosting the event.
